Matthew Chilton is a Founding Partner of GMA Consulting, a consulting firm specializing in the gaming and hospitality industry. Focused on developing strategies that drive meaningful results, Chilton lends expertise in all facets of operations, including research, development, evaluation and implementation of new products, services, and technology to position organizations for competitive advantage within the dynamic hospitality environment. He has a keen ability to ensure all operational facets within the company align with the long-term goals and objectives for an organization.

Chilton has a distinguished career in the hospitality and gaming industry spanning over 25 years with oversight of hotel and food and beverage operations, revenue management, guest services, design and development, sales and financial planning. Prior to GMA, he founded CCM Hospitality, a hospitality management and development company in 2018, and in 2020 began consulting in the gaming and hospitality industry as a founder with The Strategy Organization (TSO) alongside co-founders Seth Schorr and Josh Swissman.

He previously served as Vice President of Operations and as General Manager for MGM Resorts at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino and Delano Las Vegas respectively and has also held multiple leadership positions with cross-functional responsibilities at various hotels in the gaming and hospitality industry in which he sustained success and strategic growth, with teams of ~3,000 employees at his properties and was responsible for leading several capital improvement initiatives, with oversight of up to $200M in renovations.

Chilton obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Anthropology, with a minor in Urban Studies and Planning at the University of California at San Diego. He also serves as the Board of Trustees, Board Chair, for The Meadows School.
